What is Grow Christian School?
Located in the heart of Mwello Pamaraka, Tororo District, Uganda, Grow Christian School is a top private Christian institution serving 496 students from Nursery through Primary 7th Grade.
Founded in 2013 by Owor Anthony and Pahibi Peres, our mixed day and boarding school is rooted in Christian love and committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive learning environment for children from diverse social, cultural, spiritual, and economic backgrounds.

Our Story
Grow Christian School was founded in 2013 by Anthony Owor and his wife, Pahibi Peres, with a vision shaped by both hardship and hope. As a child, Anthony walked nearly 20 miles each day to attend school. His parents were farmers with limited access to education, and those early struggles sparked a lifelong desire to bring learning closer to families like his.
Anthony came to faith as an adult after a near-death experience, which deepened his sense of purpose. Years later, God placed a burden on his heart to serve his community through education. With the support of his friends from Uganda and the United States, he launched a school rooted in Christian love and values.
The school’s beginnings were humble—papyrus mats formed the walls and iron sheets covered the roof—but the mission was clear: to provide a Christ-centered education for children in need. In its first year, Grow Christian School welcomed 148 students.
Today, by God’s grace and through the generous support of friends in Uganda and the United States, Grow Christian School serves 496 students across nursery and primary levels. We are committed to offering quality education and sharing God’s love with children from all walks of life.
